Axe Throwing!

AXE THROWING ( 8 years of age minimum )

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer on site axe throwing for young people and adults, however the minimum age requirement is Cub Scout i.e. 8 years of age, SORRY Beaver Scouts..

We will be using qualified Scouting instructors, as external providers and as such payment for this activity must be kept separate to those activities on our usual pages.

When you inquire about availability you will given coordinator contact details to discuss and agree payment for your session/s.

At the end of the 2017 season, the Blackhills Management Committee will take into account the success of this additional activity and decide on our commitments for 2018.

Please make sure no brownie or guide groups take part that may use your accommodation as girlguiding uk does not approve axe throwing. I’m the guide DC in Spen Valley we have axe throwing at Fanwoods and are disappointed it is not approved as it looks so much fun.

Our Scouts did axe throwing at our camp at Blackhills last week. They really enjoyed it. Thoroughly recommended. Thanks Julie for running it for them.
