Easter Egg Hunt 2010 – Report
A great morning was had by all, colonies and packs from around the County attended from 10.0 a.m. over 150 young people took part in the ‘ hunt ‘ for 50 eggs which the Easter Bunny had hidden around the site, once found the lucky youngster went to register their find with Jacqueline and Wendy so they could receive a ‘Chocolate Egg’ later. After the ‘ hunt ‘ we had a GIANT egg and spoon race over an obstacle course kindly set up by Colin, Keith and friends from the County Survival team. After over 40 minutes of races, we finally had winners from both Beaver Scouts and Cub Scouts. We ended the morning with all the winners taking home an egg, and all those who took part went away with a Crème egg.
Well done to everybody and MANY, MANY, THANKS to Jacqueline for administration, all the Explorers, Leaders, and members of the Management team etc. for putting the event together so successfully, see you next year !!!!
