Many thanks to all those who came to the meeting last night, and to everyone else, you haven’t missed out because we’ve decided to make the meetings monthly, on the last Tuesday so hopefully our next meet on APRIL 24TH 7.30 to 9.0 ish when hopefully we will fill both rooms !!! We will be needing to recruit a Scout Active Support Manager, so if interested in finding out more, you can look on Scoutbase, and then speak to your respective District Commissioner Sharn / Stewart [email protected] / [email protected] available to help on the ‘EGG HUNT’ this coming Sunday, please come to site for 9.00 o’clock. REMEMBER clocks go forward !! Alternatively we’ll be preparing this Saturday, pop down anytime. We want to stock up on the activities equipment A.S.A.P. so if instructors can make their needs known to Colin Ambler [email protected] alternatively please come along on the 24th to dedicate some time to this important matter.
Help to get the site ready for the season is always welcome, spring clean, maintenance, repairs etc. if interested please make contact with John Reynolds [email protected] or pop up to site Saturdays when I shall be there after lunch. Work on the Wardens accommodation continues to progress, we have volunteers during the week and Saturdays, if interested in helping ( and there is lots still to do ) then contact John Ratnik on [email protected] We are in need of wardens, if interested please contact Jacqueline Craven [email protected] or 0845 094 8894 our wardens duties are available upon request, please study these even if you have wardened previously, as this is a very important part of how we market ourselves for current and future business, as well as providing a consistent standard for all our users throughout the year. Once our meetings form a regular pattern, I’m sure we will be able to take up on social activities as well as work ones, at a future Meeting there can be an opportunity to discuss needs of the Districts and their Groups, perhaps with input from the D.C.’s and respective teams. Other than thanking Wendy for the catering and yourselves again for giving up another valuable evening, in the words of that well known cartoon……… That’s all folks.
