Coronavirus and Covid-19 (Updated 18/03)
Blackhills Scout Campsite will always follow the latest UK Government and UK Scouts advice, as our primary point of reference.
Current Situation (as of 17th March 2020, 07.00) Suspension of face-to-face activities
Given the guidance from the UK Government, the UK Scouts have announced that all face-to-face Scout meetings, activities and events must be suspended from Tuesday, 17 March 2020. This suspension applies to young people and adults and will be until further notice.
In order to comply with these instructions, the management committee has implemented the following steps:
❖ The site is closed with immediate effect.
❖ Anyone with a booking is asked to contact the Booking Secretary on 0300 020 0651 to
discuss what you wish to do. We can either:
▪ Cancel your booking and refund any monies paid. If you wish payment by BACS please have your bank account details available.
▪ Transfer your booking to a future date (provisionally after September 2020).
❖ No new bookings for the site will be taken/confirmed until the restriction on face to face
activities has been lifted, or clear dates have been set for when this will happen.
The management will review the above on a regular basis and update the information as appropriate.
